Objective

At BinckBank, I led the development of an innovative online account opening prototype, an essential project that transformed the customer onboarding process from a complicated, paper-based system to a streamlined digital experience. Prior to this initiative, customers were required to navigate through extensive paperwork to open an account, a process compounded by stringent regulatory demands.

Details

I designed and developed the initial prototype, translating regulatory requirements and a large number of required fields into a clear and usable online process. User testing was used to validate and refine the design.

After the prototype phase, I supported the front-end team with its implementation within BinckBank’s existing platforms. The project later led to me being asked to establish and lead a dedicated UI/Front-end team.
